Dungeon Launcher Privacy Policy
Crypto Dungeon LLC operates Dungeon Launcher for Windows, macOS and Linux. This policy explains the information used by the launcher and its account services. Individual games and external services may have their own privacy policies.
Effective October 13, 2026
Player accounts and Google sign-in
Google, Apple and Microsoft sign-in are optional ways to identify a Dungeon player account. Sign-in opens on the provider's own page. Our account service verifies the returned identity, stores a hashed provider identifier and may use your profile name as your initial Dungeon display name. We use this information to sign you in, recognize returning accounts and support account links that you choose explicitly. Matching email addresses do not automatically merge accounts.
Google and Microsoft sign-in request identity and basic profile permissions only. The launcher does not request access to Gmail, email messages, contacts, Drive or calendars. Provider passwords stay with the provider. Provider identity tokens are used for verification; the launcher receives a separate Dungeon session. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. Google user data is used only for the sign-in and account functions described here.
Username accounts store a username and a salted password hash on the account service. Dungeon sessions expire and can be ended by signing out. The desktop stores a session across restarts only when supported operating-system encryption is available.
Your library and friends
Profiles, libraries, wishlists, preferences and launcher activity can be saved on your device. If you use cloud features, the account service stores the profile and library you sync, friend requests and relationships, invitations and party information. Integrated games may also store saves, achievements or submissions through their account services. Your chosen display name and information you share with friends, parties or communities can be visible to those participants.
Wallet and blockchain information
Wallet recovery phrases and private keys are kept in the local wallet; player sign-in does not upload them or unlock the wallet. Wallet features send public addresses and transaction requests to the relevant blockchain and network services to retrieve balances, staking, governance, NFTs and transaction history, or submit transactions you approve. Public blockchain records can be permanent and cannot be deleted by us. Prices, trading, NFT services and external games use their own service providers.
Messages, attachments and calls
Chat uses a separate wallet-based identity. Direct messages with encryption enabled and private attachments are encrypted by the client; the chat service receives their encrypted content and routing information. Group and community conversations are service-readable and are not end-to-end encrypted. The service stores conversation membership, message and attachment records, and information needed to deliver them. Optional encrypted history backups are stored when you choose to upload them.
Microphone, camera and screen-sharing features require your permission. Calls use WebRTC and may use connection and relay services; participants and those services receive connection information, including network addresses. Participants can retain messages or media you share. Do not treat public groups as private conversations.
Activity counts and network logs
Launcher activity sharing is off by default and can be changed in Settings. When enabled, it sends predefined activity categories and the desktop platform to count events such as launcher opens and game launches. Those event payloads do not include wallet addresses, account identifiers, message contents or a device identifier. Servers, download hosts, blockchain providers and sign-in providers receive ordinary network information such as IP addresses. Operational logs may include request paths, status and timing. Launcher sign-in callback logs exclude authorization codes, state query parameters and referral URLs.
Storage, sharing and your choices
We use account and service information to provide the features you request, maintain their security, investigate problems and respond to support requests. Information is shared with the providers needed for those features and may be disclosed when required by law. External providers may process information in other countries under their own policies. Cloud information is retained to operate these services; backups may retain earlier versions until replaced.
You can sign out, change your shared profile, remove friends, turn off activity sharing and revoke provider access through Google, Apple or Microsoft account settings. Revoking provider access does not by itself delete your Dungeon account or cloud data. Contact admin@dungeongames.io to request access, correction or deletion of account information. We may need to verify account ownership. Never send your recovery phrase, private key, password or verification codes to support. We cannot erase public blockchain records or copies retained by other participants.
