What is free?

Play Kosmic Dungeon in your browser and try a Dungeon Academy sample lesson. The public Kosmic Monsters playtest and Ascendancy browser beta are also free to start. Oathforge is a free Windows playtest download. Playtests are unfinished builds, not a promise of a finished campaign.

See the games and their entry requirements. Casino stakes, paid fantasy leagues and on-chain Castle Siege actions use DGN; they are not part of the free browser promise.

What does $DGN unlock?

$DGN powers play, trading, staking and governance across dungeon-1. It pays network fees and optional on-chain game actions, NFT purchases and marketplace trades. Some games also use it for entry fees or prize pools. Check the amount and network fee before every signature.

You can trade DGN on the Dungeon DEX on dungeon-1 or swap USDC for DGN on Base through Aerodrome. DGN on Base and native DGN on dungeon-1 use different networks. A swap on one does not move tokens to the other.

Supply, rewards and the validator set

The Explorer's chain statistics report total supply, bonded tokens, the community pool and current emission parameters. On October 9, 2026, dungeon-1 had approximately 1.219 billion DGN: 394.14 million DGN were bonded to validators, about 32.33% of the total supply, and the community pool held 5.64 million DGN. These are dated readings; open the Explorer for the current figures.

To inspect how DGN balances are distributed across accounts, open the Explorer's holder ledger. It shows account balances, holder-scan coverage and which protocol-owned accounts are excluded from the ranking.

The whitepaper's token-economics section points to the canonical genesis record. Current mint parameters fix annual inflation at 10%, with a 2.5% community tax on distributed rewards. Inflation is an emission rate, not a promised 10% staking return.

Staking rewards depend on the amount staked across the network and your validator's commission and uptime. Current delegation parameters specify a 20-day unbonding period. Review current rates, slashing parameters and validators on the staking page before delegating.

The whitepaper describes game-revenue distributions and lower inflation as a governance commitment. It does not make future revenue or yield guaranteed.

Can I swap winnings to USDC?

DGN prizes and casino balances are governed by each game's entry, settlement and withdrawal rules. Withdraw eligible game balances to your wallet first, then request a DGN/USDC quote on the Dungeon DEX. On Base, Aerodrome swaps only DGN already on Base; moving native DGN there requires the supported bridge and its current limits.

A prize balance is not a guaranteed USDC amount. Pool depth changes. Large swaps can have substantial price impact, and a market may not support your whole amount at the displayed price. Check minimum received, fees and route availability. The homepage ledger shows market activity, not a payout guarantee.

Academy membership is separate

By card: first month free, then $19/month, with automatic monthly renewal until the guardian cancels. The card is collected at checkout; cancel before day 31 to avoid the first charge. Or prepay one 30-day period with 19 native USDC or a live $19-equivalent DGN quote on dungeon-1; prepaid access does not auto-renew.

Who is this for?

Start here if you want to try independent fantasy games, learn through play, or inspect a small chain before connecting a wallet. If you need deep trading liquidity, guaranteed returns or a finished game in every playtest, the current platform will not meet that expectation.
