Kosmic Dungeon is an idle RPG where you recruit heroes, battle across the world map, build and upgrade your city, craft gear, and explore procedurally generated dungeons. It runs in-browser and as a standalone app, with full on-chain asset ownership.

Yes. Kosmic Dungeon is completely free to play. You earn gold, gems, food, wood and stone through gameplay. On-chain features like NFT minting and marketplace trading are optional and use $DGN.

Kosmic Dungeon runs in any modern browser at play.dungeongames.io. You can also play through the Dungeon Wallet mobile app on iOS and Android, which wraps the game in a native wallet. A Windows standalone build is also available.

Dungeon Chain is a sovereign layer-1 blockchain (chain ID: dungeon-1) purpose-built for gaming. It gives fast transaction finality, low fees, and native support for the smart contracts behind NFTs, marketplace listings and DAO governance.

$DGN is the native token of Dungeon Chain. It is used for transaction fees, staking rewards, governance voting, NFT marketplace trades and in-game premium purchases. The minimal denomination is udgn (1 DGN = 1,000,000 udgn).

You can trade for $DGN on the Dungeon DEX, earn it by staking, or earn it through in-game achievements and events. The DEX has live DGN pairs against USDC, ETH, SOL and wBTC.

You can use Dungeon Wallet — our official wallet, available on iOS, Android and as a Chrome extension — or the Keplr browser extension. Both support Dungeon Chain natively. Dungeon Wallet also lets you play Kosmic Dungeon directly inside the app.

Staking means delegating your $DGN to a validator to help secure the network. In return you earn staking rewards. You can delegate, redelegate between validators, or undelegate, which has a 21-day unbonding period.

Your tokens remain yours when staked — you are delegating voting power, not transferring ownership. However, if your chosen validator misbehaves by double-signing, a small percentage may be slashed. Choose validators with high uptime and a good track record.

Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana bridges are live on mainnet, so you can move assets in and out of dungeon-1 today. A Base bridge is in progress.

Dungeon NFTs represent in-game assets — heroes, gear and collectibles — as on-chain tokens using the CW-721 standard, the equivalent of ERC-721. Owning an NFT means you genuinely own that asset and can trade, sell or transfer it freely.

Heroes and gear earned in-game can be minted as NFTs from the game's Shop panel or from The Hoard, our NFT marketplace. Minting costs a small $DGN fee to cover the on-chain transaction.

The Hoard lets players list NFTs for sale at a set price in $DGN. Buyers browse listings, view item stats and purchase directly. Every trade settles on-chain through the marketplace contract — no middleman.

A small percentage is taken on each sale to support the ecosystem. The exact fee is set in the marketplace smart contract and is shown on each listing.

Battles play out automatically in real time. Your squad of up to four heroes fights using basic attacks and abilities. Heroes have mana pools that regenerate over time, and you can manually target enemies or trigger abilities. Synergies between hero classes grant bonus effects.

The world map is divided into biome stages, each with its own enemies, theme and difficulty. Biomes range from forests and caves to astral planes and void citadels. Clear the enemies in a biome to unlock the next, with boss fights appearing every few stages.

Your city has buildings including the Tavern, Market, Lumber Mill, Quarry, Farm, Barracks, Blacksmith, Alchemist, Gem Mine, Guild Hall and Summoning Gate. Each produces resources or grants bonuses, and you upgrade them with wood and stone to increase output.

Dungeon crawling is a first-person exploration mode with procedurally generated floors. Navigate rooms, fight enemies, find treasure and face boss rooms, while an AI Dungeon Master narrates the run with its own story beats.

Heroes come in classes such as Fighter, Ranger, Cleric, Sorcerer and Rogue. Pairing particular classes unlocks synergies — Holy Shield (Cleric + Paladin) grants a defensive bonus, while Arcane Surge (Wizard + Sorcerer) boosts magic damage.

Kosmic Dungeon is an idle RPG — your heroes keep earning gold, resources and XP while you are offline, and you collect what accumulated when you return. Building upgrades and VIP level increase your idle earning rate.

Governance lets $DGN stakers vote on proposals that affect the chain — parameter changes, software upgrades, community pool spending and more. Your voting power is proportional to your staked $DGN.

DAOs are on-chain groups that manage shared treasuries and make decisions through proposals and voting. Dungeon Chain supports multisig DAOs. Anyone can create one, add members and start governing.

Open the DAOs page in the explorer and choose Create DAO. The wizard covers naming, governance type, adding members with voting weights, and voting thresholds. Deployment costs a small $DGN gas fee.

Open the proposal, connect your wallet, and choose Yes, No or Abstain. Chain governance proposals require staked $DGN; DAO proposals require membership with voting power.

Dungeon Chain is a sovereign layer-1 running CometBFT consensus, with smart contracts executing as WebAssembly via CosmWasm. It supports IBC for cross-chain transfers with other IBC-enabled networks.

The block explorer at explorer.dungeongames.io shows blocks, transactions, validators, accounts, NFTs, marketplace listings, governance proposals, DAOs and game stats. It reads directly from the Dungeon Chain RPC and REST APIs.

The chain itself is public at github.com/Crypto-Dungeon/dungeonchain. Contract code is verifiable on-chain — the Contracts page in the explorer lists deployed contracts and their code IDs.
