Week 12 · Term Two · One inspectable source chain

The Library of Echoes

Turn a night slip into labels a librarian can check: original facts, a first voice, a dated citation, added claims, and a public map that does not say the flood has been proven.

A lineage survives only the labels it can show.

Monday keeps Mira’s two facts. Tuesday marks Seat 1 as first voice. Wednesday dates Mira, then the cited copy, and leaves the poster off. Thursday scores 4 − 2 = 2 invented claims. Friday writes a map a skeptical family can inspect.

Day 1

Monday

20 minutes

Reading · Original words and later tellings

Keep the First Sentence

Hold an original sentence still, then mark later lines that keep those facts, paraphrase them, or invent new ones.

Make

A witness slip card

Echo handoff: The same-day copy is filed as a match. Sound is still open — written words are not yet a spoken chain.

Day 2

Tuesday

25 minutes

Sound · Syllables, substitutions, and first voice

Hear Which Seat Changed

Count syllables and substitutions at each seat, then refuse to treat a later echo as the original recording.

Make

A echo seat card

Echo handoff: Seat 1 is the only first-voice mark. Dates are still open — a clean echo is not yet a dated chain.

Day 3

Wednesday

25 minutes

History · Dates, signatures, and who cites whom

Date the Source Chain

Order sources by date and citation, and leave an unsigned, undated slip off the chain.

Make

A dated chain card

Echo handoff: The dated chain is Mira, then the cited copy. Distortion is still open — a labeled copy is not yet a count of invented claims.

Day 4

Thursday

20 minutes

Information science · Added claims versus a cited copy

Count What Was Invented

Subtract original claims from a later version, and mark distortion only where new claims appear.

Make

A distortion ledger

Echo handoff: The market tale is the only scored distortion. Public writing is still open — a ledger is not yet a lineage a family can inspect.

Day 5

Friday

25 minutes

Information science · A lineage families can inspect

File the Source Lineage

Write a source lineage that uses the week’s labels and states what the chain still cannot prove.

Make

A Source lineage map

Echo handoff: The source lineage map is filed. Term Two now has one inspectable source chain — not a claim that the flood has been proven.

Open the echo journal.

The map uses only work entered here. It does not infer a verified flood, a liar, grades, mastery, attendance, or accreditation.
