Week 17 · Term Two · One inspectable square

The Festival Budget

Turn one purse into coins and percents a neighbor can check: four named lines, matching shares, four stage chairs, a closed-street reserve, and a proposal that does not say the night is funded.

A proposal survives only the lines it can show.

Monday keeps 48 + 36 + 24 + 12 = 120. Tuesday matches 40 + 30 + 20 + 10. Wednesday marks 4 × 12 as chairs, not fame. Thursday names the closed street. Friday writes a proposal a skeptical family can inspect.

Day 1

Monday

20 minutes

Finance · A purse is four lines

Count the Festival Purse

Treat a festival purse as four named lines that add, and refuse to spend the reserve as extra celebration.

Make

A purse card

Festival handoff: The purse card is filed. The percents are still open — a labeled total is not yet a share a neighbor can check.

Day 2

Tuesday

25 minutes

Percentages · Shares must match coins

Post the Honest Percents

Match each percent to its coin line, and refuse a bigger music share that the purse never held.

Make

A share card

Festival handoff: The share card is filed. The stage is still open — matching percents are not yet chairs a visitor can count.

Day 3

Wednesday

25 minutes

Music · A chair is a counted pay

Count the Stage Chairs

Account the stage as chairs times pay, and refuse an unpaid extra player.

Make

A stage card

Festival handoff: The stage card is filed. The street is still open — counted chairs are not yet a civic cost a family can inspect.

Day 4

Thursday

20 minutes

Civics · Who the flyer may not hide

Name the Closed Street

Keep the reserve and the closed street on the same public card, and refuse a vote-already-passed headline.

Make

A street card

Festival handoff: The street card is filed. The proposal is still open — a refused poster is not yet a notebook a family can inspect.

Day 5

Friday

25 minutes

Public writing · A proposal families can check

File the Balanced Proposal

Write a festival proposal that uses this week’s coins and percents and states what the table still cannot prove.

Make

A Balanced festival proposal

Festival handoff: The balanced proposal is filed. Term Two now has one inspectable festival model — not a claim that the night is funded.

Open the festival journal.

The proposal uses only work entered here. It does not infer a funded night, a passed vote, hired musicians, grades, mastery, attendance, or accreditation.
