Week 15 · Term Two · One inspectable valley

The Weather Engine

Turn one valley table into millimeters a farmer can check: three gauges, a closed water budget, a farm shortfall, an honest claim, and a diagram that does not say the climate was repaired.

A steer survives only the losses it can show.

Monday keeps 8 + 4 + 6 = 18 mm. Tuesday balances town +6 as farm −4 + ridge −2. Wednesday marks 5 − 2 as a farm short. Thursday names who pays. Friday writes a diagram a skeptical family can inspect.

Day 1

Monday

20 minutes

Atmosphere · Three gauges, one valley

Read the Weather Card

Treat a weather card as three stations that add, and refuse to let one convenient town reading stand in for the valley.

Make

A valley gauge card

Weather handoff: The gauge card is filed. The water budget is still open — a moving valley is not yet an accounted intervention.

Day 2

Tuesday

25 minutes

Systems · Water has to come from somewhere

Balance the Steering

Account a town gain as losses elsewhere, and refuse a created-rain claim.

Make

A water-budget card

Weather handoff: The water budget is filed. The farm test is still open — a balanced card is not yet a check against what crops need.

Day 3

Wednesday

25 minutes

Data · Who is short after the steer

Check the Farm Gauge

Subtract crop need minus the after-steer farm gauge, and refuse a town-only success.

Make

A farm-consequence card

Weather handoff: The farm shortfall is filed. Public writing is still open — a named short is not yet a claim a family can inspect.

Day 4

Thursday

20 minutes

Ethics · Who the poster may not hide

Name Who Pays

Keep the town gain and the farm loss on the same public card, and refuse a created-rain headline.

Make

A honest-claim card

Weather handoff: The honest claim is filed. The systems diagram is still open — a refused poster is not yet a notebook a family can inspect.

Day 5

Friday

25 minutes

Public writing · A diagram families can check

File the Systems Diagram

Write a systems diagram that uses this week’s millimeters and states what the table still cannot prove.

Make

A Systems impact diagram

Weather handoff: The systems diagram is filed. Term Two now has one inspectable weather model — not a claim that the climate has been repaired.

Open the weather journal.

The diagram uses only work entered here. It does not infer a built engine, a repaired climate, grades, mastery, attendance, or accreditation.
