One STEM lesson lets families evaluate the teaching loop without membership.
Clear rules
before a family joins.
Dungeon Academy is an enrichment beta. These plain-language terms explain the free sampler, $19/month family membership, the parent role, learning-record limits, and unfinished launch work.
The full school, reports, and saved parent tools open through the parent-managed family account.
Dungeon Academy is not an accredited school or official transcript provider.
Parents should supervise setup, consent, membership, data requests, and school records.
The terms in one parent-readable pass
The legal page should not feel like a trap door. Before a family pays, the important points are simple: this is an enrichment membership, a parent controls it, and the product should be honest about what it is not.
A parent-managed enrichment membership for guided lessons, practice rooms, reports, and family planning tools.
Accreditation, school-district enrollment, official transcripts, child care, tutoring guarantees, or school-credit promises.
A parent or guardian. Children should not create paid access, manage billing, or make account decisions alone.
Paid rooms should open after membership confirmation, and access should end or downgrade when a membership is canceled or cannot be confirmed.
The current agreement families should understand
A parent or guardian should control paid membership, learner profile setup, consent, reports, support requests, and account recovery.
Families should use the free sampler before deciding whether the full paid school is a fit.
Approved beta families use a parent-managed account for reports, saved tools, and paid learning rooms.
Dungeon Academy is an enrichment beta. It should not be represented as an accredited school, official school district, or legally recognized transcript provider.
Reports, receipts, mastery packets, and transcript-style entries are product evidence for families unless and until formal academic record systems are completed.
AI art, voices, music, animation, and feedback may be used to support lessons. They should not replace parent judgment or formal educational evaluation.
Beta features may change, move, break, or be removed while the school foundation is being built.
Do not attempt to bypass guardian access, scrape learner records, share private report links, upload harmful content, or expose a child's private information.
Paid beta should stay understandable
$19/month is the current public beta price label for paid membership.
Paid rooms should open only after the family account has a confirmed membership. A button click by itself should never unlock paid access.
Stripe may handle checkout and billing portal steps in the parent path; the Academy app should show a clear membership status before changing access.
Families should receive clear receipts, parent account recovery, cancellation, and membership-update tools.
Refund, cancellation, and billing questions should be handled through the parent support path and any Stripe receipt or portal available to the family.
A simple cancellation and membership-update path should remain visible before broad enrollment expands.
How families should use the beta
Keep parent access, learner records, reports, and support requests under the guardian-managed path.
Do not post family credentials, learner IDs, report links, or child data publicly.
Parents should review proof receipts, weekly briefs, and mastery packets with the child.
If a lesson, media asset, or record looks wrong, pause and request correction before relying on it.
What the terms should make impossible to misunderstand
Dungeon Academy is for guided lessons, proof work, records, and parent-managed membership.
Upgrade, billing, cancellation, and renewal decisions belong in parent-managed pages, not inside the child's lesson flow.
Learner reports, proof work, profile details, and art submissions should stay private unless a parent approves a moderated showcase path.
The product can guide, practice, and report progress, but families remain responsible for placement, supervision, and formal education decisions.
What must be completed before this becomes a normal school product
These terms should become more formal after legal review, automated membership, parent account recovery, and privacy systems are ready.
Membership status, receipts, recovery, and cancellation flows should keep getting tested before broad paid enrollment scales.
Privacy, terms, deletion, retention, vendor, and refund language should receive professional review before a major consumer launch.
Consent records, parent verification, deletion workflows, and access recovery need reliable account tools.
Any future school-credit claims would need separate legal, academic, and operational review.
Review the rules, then open the beta only with a parent in control.
The terms page should not become a legal maze. Families can read the current limits, check privacy and safety, then decide whether paid beta access makes sense.
