Week 20 · Term Three · One inspectable vault

The Energy Vault

Turn two sources into counts a neighbor can check: 8 + 4 kWh, 14 + 4 hours, 10 − 6 leftover smoke, 6 × 2 coins, and a statement that does not say the vault powers a city.

A vault survives only the lines it can show.

Monday adds 8 + 4 kWh. Tuesday adds 14 + 4 hours. Wednesday subtracts 10 − 6 leftover smoke. Thursday names 6 × 2 coins. Friday writes a statement a skeptical family can inspect.

Day 1

Monday

20 minutes

Physics · Two sources, one output

Count the Vault Output

Count output as both sources, and refuse a cleanliness stamp the card never held.

Make

A output card

Vault handoff: The output card is filed. The hours are still open — twelve kilowatts are not yet hours a neighbor can add.

Day 2

Tuesday

25 minutes

Algebra · Two hours that add

Add the Ready Hours

Count ready time as both hours, and refuse an always-on stamp the vault never posted.

Make

A ready card

Vault handoff: The ready card is filed. The smoke is still open — eighteen hours are not yet leftover air a visitor can subtract.

Day 3

Wednesday

25 minutes

Climate · Smoke minus capture

Measure the Leftover Smoke

Count leftover smoke as posted minus captured, and refuse a zero stamp that hides the four units still in the air.

Make

A smoke card

Vault handoff: The smoke card is filed. The ledger is still open — four leftover units are not yet coins a family can count.

Day 4

Thursday

20 minutes

Policy · Who counts the ledger

Name the Ledger Cost

Keep the cost as a counted ledger, and refuse a headline that the vault pays the town.

Make

A cost card

Vault handoff: The cost card is filed. The matrix is still open — twelve coins are not yet a statement a family can inspect.

Day 5

Friday

25 minutes

Public writing · A comparison families can check

File the Energy Matrix

Write an energy decision matrix that uses this week’s counts and states what the table still cannot prove.

Make

A energy decision matrix

Vault handoff: The energy matrix is filed. The year now has one inspectable vault model — not a claim that the vault powers a city.

Open the energy journal.

The matrix uses only work entered here. It does not infer a powered city, free energy, next week’s weather, mastery, attendance, or accreditation.
