The Robotics Arena is a tuning lab, not a robot-facts quiz: adjust sensors, gear ratio, payload, and battery, then run a failure test to see what actually breaks the build. Every tradeoff you make has a visible consequence.

What you'll practice

Real moves, not a quiz wall

Tune sensors and calibration

Adjust a sensor's sensitivity and see how it changes what the robot detects.

Balance gear ratio and torque

Trade speed for pulling power and watch the robot's behavior change.

Manage payload and battery

Push weight and power limits until something has to give.

Run a failure test

Find the point where your build breaks, then explain the constraint that caused it.

Questions parents ask

Before you start

Do I need to create an account?

No. The free room opens with no sign-in. A parent can sign in separately to see progress reports — nothing is required to start playing.

Do I need real robotics parts or a kit?

No — everything happens in the browser simulator. No hardware is required.

What age is this for?

The Robotics Arena targets roughly grades 4–9, with easier and harder difficulty bands inside the same room.

Is any of my child's data collected?

Not on the free public room. Data is only stored if a parent explicitly signs in to enable progress reports.
